It focuses on the development of dual-use and defence technologies, the development and production of critical systems and the strengthening of defence and security value chains, ensuring the integrity of the supply chain, the sovereignty and strategic autonomy of the Union, as well as promoting the competitiveness and sustainability of the Union’s defence industry.

Among others, it concerns supporting enterprises and/or inter-enterprise collaboration and/or enterprise-research community collaboration to create a critical mass associated with the defence and dual-use industries.
