Participation in the European Co-funded Research and Innovation Partnerships of Horizon Europe

The Action is part of the support / promotion of international partnerships and aims to enhance the openness and competitiveness of the research and innovation system through the participation of Greek research organisations and enterprises in cooperation with bodies of other countries in the international competitive calls of the EU co-funded partnerships of the ‘Horizon Europe’ Framework Programme. The Action covers projects with Greek participants (enterprises and research centres) in the calls of the European Co-funded Partnerships, in which the General Secretariat of Research and Innovation (GGEK) participates, which are issued by the EU in the framework of the ‘Horizon Europe’ Programme (Regulation (EU) 2021/695) to fund international research and innovation partnerships.

This Action aims to activate human capital by bolstering self-employment and developing new business initiatives that contribute to increased employment. The target population is primarily specialised & trained young people with entrepreneurial skills and intention to participate in sustainable and modern sectors (e.g. ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics, Tourism etc.). Special focus will be given to business activities which lead to the creation of new, sustainable jobs.

We produce in Greece

The objective of this Action is to strengthen Greece's production base and international competitiveness in sectors with a high export orientation by strengthening selected production sectors. This is a targeted intervention which seeks (a) to bolster the domestic production base in key sectors and (b) to support and expand the export orientation of Greek businesses. By increasing local production of products for which there is high international demand and improving export performance, the Action is expected to make a positive contribution to the Greek economy. At the same time, it seeks to strengthen domestic demand for Greek products by bolstering their competitiveness at the international level.

Call for expressions of interest to financial institutions to participate in the TEPIX III Natural Disaster Recovery Microloans Fund

The Natural Disaster Recovery Microloans Fund is a risk-sharing financial instrument implemented in the context of the Holding Fund’s Entrepreneurship Fund III. The Fund was established to support and develop micro and small enterprises and micro entities and natural persons engaged in individual business activity in geographically defined areas affected by natural disasters, irrespective of whether they have suffered material damage from intense natural phenomena, provided their normal business activity is affected by the general consequences of natural disasters in the area, in order for businesses to recover from the impacts caused by these situations.

Extroversion of SMEs

TEPIX III Guarantee Fund

The formation of the Guarantee Fund is an important step towards the support and well-being of existing and newly established small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Fund was designed to support SMEs in our country, not only by offering them the necessary liquidity and the necessary funds for investments, but also the ability to reduce their financing costs. The zero guarantee fee, the grace period and the interest rate subsidy make funding more affordable, while revolving credit provides the flexibility that SMEs need to meet the ever-changing market needs. In addition, investment purpose and special-purpose working capital provide SMEs with the ability to implement their strategic investments, to expand and strengthen their competitiveness.
