‘Competitiveness 2021–2027’ Programme on Sunday 11/09/2022 in the Emilios Riadis hall at the 86th International Exhibition of Thessaloniki met with great success, at an event organized by the Special Service for the Coordination of Planning, Evaluation and Application (EYSSA) to introduce the new sectoral Programmes within the framework of the new NSRF 2021-2027.
The event was addressed by the Minister for Development and Investments, Adonis Georgiadis, the Deputy Minister of Development and Investments, Giannis Tsakiris, and the Secretary General for Public Investments and NSRF, Dimitris Skalkos.
The Programme was presented by the Special Secretary for the Management of ERDF & CF Programmes, Mr. Giorgos Zervos, and Mr. Konstantinos Niafas also made a comment, representing the European Commission as its officer at the Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy. The event was moderated by Mr. Ioannis Firbas, Director General of the National Coordination Authority of the Ministry of Development & Investments.
The event was attended by a significant number of interested parties both in person and online, and the audience included officials from public administration and the business world and representatives of collective bodies.
The presentation underscored the role of the new Programme in supporting the Greek economy and SMEs. The Minister of Development and Investments, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, especially highlighted the Programme’s focus on green transition and the digital transformation of Greek entrepreneurship.
Mr. Tsakiris noted that the new Actions will be announced shortly to avoid any gap in the funding of Greek enterprises.
Mr. Skalkos referred to the level of readiness of the control and management mechanism of the Sectoral Programmes of the new NSRF.
In closing, Mr. Zervos presented in detail the characteristics of the ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ Programme and its investment axes.
All of the presenters emphasised the importance of the NSRF’s involved services and agencies in the Programme’s speedy planning and approval by the European Commission.
