This call is addressed to SUNLIGHT GROUP ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEMS INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL SOCIETE ANONYME for the submission of proposals for projects (operations) to be included and financed under the “Competitiveness” Programme, the ERDF Fund and the Actions “1-1.1-02- 1-1.1-02: Development of lithium battery innovation in the energy storage sector”.
The project concerns research, development and innovation (RDI) and the first industrial deployment (FID) of innovative lithium batteries. It is part of an Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI)* for the European Battery Innovation (EuBatIn) programme, which is aimed at meeting the needs of a competitive, innovative and sustainable battery value chain. The full EuBatIn project includes R&D actions for 42 enterprises (direct participants), including large enterprises, SMEs, and startups active in one or more Member States. The direct participants will work closely together through nearly 300 partnerships to be implemented, as well as with over 150 external partners (universities, research organisations, SMEs) throughout Europe.
