Pre-publication of the Action “Adaptation Plans for SMEs with Employment Capacity of 20-50 Annual Labour Units (ALU)”

The Action “Adaptation Plans for SMEs with Employment Capacity of 20-50 Annual Labour Units (ALU)” of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme has been pre-published; the action concerns support for SMEs with an employment capacity of 20-50 employees (Annual Labour Units – ALU) in developing and implementing adaptation plans to address the demands of modern organisational operation and personnel skill development, with special focus on issues of “green” management, digital modernisation, extroversion and supply chain management.

Budget: €30,000,000

The Action is co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) and the Greek State.

Eligible Enterprises 

Existing SMEs with at least 20 ALU in 2023.

 

Project budget

Each plan may receive from €25,000 to €130,000 in funding.

The funded budget for each investment plan may not exceed the highest turnover of any of the three (or less, if the enterprise has not been active for three) financial years preceding the year of submission of the application for funding. In any case, the threshold is €130,000.


Eligible Expenses 

  1. Consulting services (identification of needs etc.)
    2. Training expenses to develop employee “soft” skills
    3. Training expenses (simplified cost – application of unit costs per EU reg.)
    4. Training Certification Expenses (recognised certificates)
    5. Payroll costs of new hires (1 Annual Labour Unit – ALU)

Business plan management costs are not eligible under the Action.

Submission and Evaluation of Applications for Funding

Applications for funding are submitted through the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS). No printed supporting documents shall be submitted. The deadline and submission process, required supporting documents, obligations of the beneficiaries, application evaluation criteria as well as the other terms of implementation will be described in detail in the Detailed Invitation of the Action.

The Action will be evaluated through Direct Assessment.
