Notice of Package of Actions ‘Green Transition of SMEs’

The  ‘Green Transition of SMEs’ Package of Actions was announced, with a budget of €700,000,000, which promotes investment projects aimed at the utilisation and development of modern technologies, the upgrading of products and/or services and their activities, by subsidising actions that utilise modern technologies, infrastructure, and best practices in energy upgrading and circular economy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Package is divided into two Actions:

Action 1:  Green Transformation of SMEs concerns enterprises, which have at least three (3) annual work units (AWU) of dependent work in the calendar year preceding the submission of the funding application,

  • Aid intensity: up to 40% – excluding special cases (West sector of Athens, East Attica, West Attica, Piraeus, Islands), which comply with Regulation (EU) 651/2014 (Article 14), whose aid intensities are described in detail in the call. Aid intensity may be increased by 10%, provided that ‘Green Transition’ costs are incurred and certified, of least 20% of the total eligible budget for the investment plan during the final verification stage.
  • The subsidized budget of the investment plan can range between €200,001 and  €1,000,000

 

Action 2: Green Productive Investment of SMEs concerns businesses, which have at least two (2) annual work units (AWU) of dependent work in the calendar year preceding the submission of the funding application.

  • Aid intensity: up to 40% Aid intensity may be increased by 10%, provided that ‘Green Transition’ costs are incurred and certified, of least 20% of the total eligible budget for the investment plan during the final verification stage.
  • The subsidized budget of the investment plan can range between €30,000 and  €200,000

 

The ‘Green Transition of SMEs’ Package of Actions is co-funded by the EU’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national funds. For reasons of greater complementarity, financing is achieved using the Joint Support (Article 25 Regulation (EU) 2021/1060) for the financing of interventions that fall within the scope of ESF+ aid.

Submission opening date: Wednesday 22/03/2023 at 12:00

The Package of Actions will remain open for the submission of applications until the budget per regional category is exhausted, provided the relevant state aid funding regulations (651/2014, 1407/2013) remain in effect, incremented by 20% per regional category.

Funding applications will be evaluated in order of priority, in accordance with the date and time of final electronic submission to the OPSKE.
