The invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Importance “Research – Innovate” of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published. The Action will be implemented by the Special Research and Innovation Action Management and Implementation Service (EYDE EK).
The primary aim of the Action is the connection of research and innovation with entrepreneurship, to strengthen the competitiveness, productivity and extroversion of Greek enterprises in international markets and transition to innovative entrepreneurship, increasing domestic added value.
The budget for the Action amounts to €300,000,000
The Action is co-funded by the EU European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The maximum funded budget for investment plans per Intervention is as follows:
- Intervention I – Research and Development by Enterprises: €800,000
- Intervention II – Joint Ventures of Enterprises and Research Organisations: €2,000,000
- Intervention III – Utilisation of Research Results: €2,000,000
- Intervention IV – Seal of Excellence for enterprises: to the limit of the approved implementation budget by Horizon Europe
Submitted investment plans must concern the 8 sectors of the National Smart Specialisation Strategy 2021-2027 (ESEE).
Beneficiaries of the Action:
- a) Enterprises and “Other entities treated as enterprises”; and
- b) Research organisations and “Other entities treated as research organisations”
Online Submission Start Date for all Interventions:
Thursday, 06/06/2024 at 12:00
Online submission end date:
- Wednesday, 10/07/2024 at 15:00 for Intervention I
- Wednesday, 17/07/2024 at 15:00 for Intervention II
- for Interventions III and IV, the Invitation will remain active until exhaustion of the available budget per Region Category and in any case through Wednesday, 27/11/2024 at 15:00
The funding application must be submitted online via the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS)
Applications that are not submitted online shall be not receive aid. No applications may be submitted after the expiry of the deadline for electronic submission of Applications for Funding.
