Information events are set to be held by the Special Research and Innovation Action Management and Implementation Service (EYDE EK) in cities throughout Greece to as part of the information and communication actions for the Action of Strategic Importance “RESEARCH – INNOVATE” of the Competitiveness Programme.

The launch event for the new Action of Strategic Importance of the Competitiveness Programme, “RESEARCH – INNOVATE” will be held on Monday, 27 May 2024 at 09:30 A.M. at the Divani Caravel hotel, on 2 Vas. Alexandrou Street in Athens.

As part of the information and communication actions for the Actions “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New SMEs” & “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs” of the Programme “Competitiveness 2021-2027” (NSRF 2021-2027), information events will be held across all Regions of Greece by the EFEPAE and the local Partners – Regional Units.

The Executive Summary of Operational Programme ‘Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation’ in the context of NSRF 2014-2020 was published for 2022, aiming to inform citizens on the Operational Programme's implementation progress.

The official opening event for the European Research Centre “Centre of Excellence for Organic, Printed Electronics & Nanotechnologies” (COPE–Nano) was successfully held in Thessaloniki on Tuesday, 30 May 2023, at the Porto Palace Hotel.

The official event for the announcement of the establishment in Greece of the European Research Center "Center of Excellence for Organic, Printed Electronics & Nanotechnologies” (COPE–Nano) will take place on Tuesday, May 30 at 15:00, at Porto Palace Hotel in Thessaloniki.

As part of the actions for informing on and communicating the ‘Digital Transformation of SMEs’ and ‘Green Transition of SMEs’ Package of Actions of the ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ Programme (NSRF 2021-2027), the Special Secretariat for the Management of ERDF & CF Programmes, the Managing Authority for Operational Programme 'Competitiveness 2021-2027’ and the Intermediary Body of Operational Programmes for Competitiveness and Entrepreneurship (EFEPAE) (local Partners – Regional Units) are holding information events in every related Region.

For the convenience of any interested parties, a file was posted containing a summary of the key features and differences of Actions ‘Basic Digital Transformation of SMEs’, ‘Advanced Digital Transformation of SMEs’ and ‘Cutting-edge Digital Transformation of SMEs’, which are in force in the framework of the Package of Actions for the Digital Transformation of SMEs.

Information events for Action ‘Research – Innovate 2021-2027’ of the ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ Programme will be held in Heraklion on Thursday, 6 April 2023 and in Chania on Friday, 7 April 2023.

The Managing Authority of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme is taking part in the three-day innovation event “INNODAYS 2022” organised by the Region of Crete at the International Exhibition Centre of Crete from 25 to 27 November. ‘Competitiveness 2021–2027’ Programme on Sunday 11/09/2022 in the Emilios Riadis hall at the 86th International Exhibition of Thessaloniki met with great success, at an event organized by the Special Service for the Coordination of Planning, Evaluation and Application (EYSSA) to introduce the new sectoral Programmes within the framework of the new NSRF 2021-2027. The Managing Authority of EPAnEK is taking part in the 86th Thessaloniki International Fair, to be held between 10 to 18 September 2022.

In the context of the new NSRF, the ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ Programme is expected to play a crucial role in the recovery of the Greek economy and the adoption of a new model for production.

The summary includes the key features of the Programme, such as the framework of its planning, the investment axes, indicative Actions and certain key initiatives for streamlining its processes.

The ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ Programme was approved on 15 June by the European Commission in the framework of the NSRF 2021-2027. The Actions to be announced soon will directly benefit thousands of enterprises and a significant portion of Greece’s workforce and scientific community.
