The sixth (6th) amendment to the Invitation for the Action “Advanced Digital Transformation for SMEs” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme NSRF 2021-2027 has been announced; according to the amendment, the completion timeframe of the physical and financial scope of the object is set at fifteen (15) months from the date of issue of the Decision Approving Evaluation Results. The amendment also made changes to Section 9.4 of the Invitation, “APPEAL PROCESS”.

The first (1st) Decision Approving Evaluation Results in the context of the ‘Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New SMEs’ Action has been published, which concerns applications submitted to the Transition Regions (Attica and South Aegean). According to the Decision, of the 1072 applications submitted to the Transition Regions, with a requested grant budget of €171,497,647.60 and a requested public expenditure of €86,901,426.12, four hundred ninety-seven (497) applications for funding have been approved, with a total funded budget of €82,545,123.72 and public expenditure in the amount of €41,851,263.97.

The Extroversion of SMEs Action of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme was pre-published, which encourages investment plans aimed at utilising and developing modern technologies, upgrading the products produced and/or the services provided, and their activities in general, with the aim of improving the competitiveness and openness of enterprises, their integration into international value chains, and strengthening the international presence of their products through their participation in trade fairs organised outside the Greek territory, in the EU and third countries.

The Call for Expressions of Interest to Microfinance Institutions was published for their participation in the ‘MICRO-CREDIT FUND’ programme. The new €60 million Micro-Credit Fund of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme (NSRF 2021-2027) aims to improve access to funding for very small entities that do not have access to bank loans, by providing micro-credit, namely, loans of up to €25,000 for small investment plans and working capital for their adaptation and development needs.

The 3rd Meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the ‘Competitiveness 2021- 2027’ Programme in the context of the 2021-2027 NSRF was concluded in a very positive atmosphere on Monday, 02/12/2024, at ‘Titania’ Hotel, chaired by the General Secretary for Management of Sectoral Programs of ERDF, CF and ESF, Mr Giannis Zervos, as well as with the participation of General Secretaries, representatives of the political and executive structures in the intervention sectors of the Programme, NSRF management, coordination, and certification authorities, as well as related economic and social partners and the European Commission.

The 3rd Meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ Programme will take place on Monday 2nd of December 2024 at 09:30 a.m. in Athens. The material of the file of the 3rd Monitoring Committee Meeting is available on the Programme's website, in the Monitoring Committee section where it will be updated with new/supplementary information until the day of the meeting.

The new Action ‘Bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Greece and Cyprus’ has been published. The Action aims to bolster the scientific and technological collaboration between Greece and Cyprus and address the needs of enterprises and other bodies active in the research and innovation ecosystem, covering the widest possible spectrum of potential Beneficiaries. The collaboration will generate a dynamic that will facilitate the establishment of researcher networks and strengthen existing partnerships. It is projected to be able to enhance access to other sources of funding for international scientific and research programmes.

Within the framework of the Competitiveness Programme NSRF 2021-2027, the ‘Technology Transfer Unit/Office Networks 2021-2027’ new action was published, with a total budget of  25 million Euros, with the country’s Research Organisations (Higher Education Institutions, Research Organisations) as Beneficiaries .

The 4th Amendment – Extension of the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Importance “Research – Innovate 2021-2027” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published, extending the deadline for submission of electronic applications for Intervention II through Friday, 20/09/2024 at 15:00.

The 3rd Amendment – Extension of the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Importance “Research – Innovate 2021-2027” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published; according to the amendment, the deadline for Intervention II is extended through Friday, 13/09/2024 at 15:00.

The Action “Adaptation Plans for SMEs with Employment Capacity of 20-50 Annual Labour Units (ALU)” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme has been pre-published; the action concerns support for SMEs with an employment capacity of 20-50 employees (Annual Labour Units – ALU) in developing and implementing adaptation plans to address the demands of modern organisational operation and personnel skill development, with special focus on issues of “green” management, digital modernisation, extroversion and supply chain management.

The 2nd amendment to the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Importance “Research – Innovate 2021-2027” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published; according to the amendment, potential beneficiary enterprises must, at the time of disbursement of the aid, be either duly seated or have a branch office in the Greek territory in which the aid is localised, according to the Application for Funding.

The 1st Amendment-Extension of the Invitation for the Action “Bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Greece and Germany” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme has been published, extending the deadline for submission of electronic applications for funding through Wednesday 04/09/2024 at 15:00. In addition, the amendment of the Invitation includes changes regarding the implementation process, the evaluation and approval of amendments, the required documentation for approval of applications for funding etc.

The fourth (4th) amendment to the Invitation for the Action “Green Transition” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme has been announced; according to the amendment, the completion timeframe of the physical and financial scope of each investment plan is set at thirty (30) months from the date of issue of the Decision Approving Evaluation Results.

The 1st Amendment – Extension of the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Significance “Research – Innovate” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published; according to the amendment, applications for funding under all Interventions of the Action may be submitted to the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS) starting Thursday, 06/06/2024 at 12:00, with the following deadlines:

An event is set to be held on Wednesday, 3 July at the Athens Conservatoire, titled “NSRF 2014-2020: Major Development Impact for All”. The event will feature the presentation of the extent and impact of the NSRF, the projects and actions of which have made a decisive contribution to the overall development of Greece’s economy and society. The event will also be streamed online; link and details to follow. Opening remarks will be made by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Chatzidakis and the Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis. The Special Secretary for Management of ERDF & Cohesion Fund Programmes, Giorgos Zervos, will chair the discussion titled “Entrepreneurship: the driving force of the Greek economy”.

The fifth (5th) amendment to the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs” has been published; according to the amendment, interested parties may submit an administrative appeal (internal appeal under the meaning of article 25 of Law 2690/1999) exclusively through the iSAMIS within a deadline of ten (10) days from the day following notification of the final evaluation results as depicted in the Decision to Approve Evaluation Results.
