The 3rd Amendment – Extension of the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Importance “Research – Innovate 2021-2027” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published; according to the amendment, the deadline for Intervention II is extended through Friday, 13/09/2024 at 15:00.

The new Action “Bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Greece and China” has been published. The Action aims to bolster the scientific and technological collaboration between Greece and China and address the needs of enterprises and other bodies active in the research and innovation ecosystem, covering the widest possible spectrum of potential Beneficiaries. The collaboration will generate a dynamic that will facilitate the establishment of researcher networks and strengthen existing partnerships. It is projected to be able to widen access to other sources of funding for international scientific and research programmes.

The Action “Adaptation Plans for SMEs with Employment Capacity of 20-50 Annual Labour Units (ALU)” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme has been pre-published; the action concerns support for SMEs with an employment capacity of 20-50 employees (Annual Labour Units – ALU) in developing and implementing adaptation plans to address the demands of modern organisational operation and personnel skill development, with special focus on issues of “green” management, digital modernisation, extroversion and supply chain management.

The 2nd amendment to the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Importance “Research – Innovate 2021-2027” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published; according to the amendment, potential beneficiary enterprises must, at the time of disbursement of the aid, be either duly seated or have a branch office in the Greek territory in which the aid is localised, according to the Application for Funding.

The 1st Amendment-Extension of the Invitation for the Action “Bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Greece and Germany” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme has been published, extending the deadline for submission of electronic applications for funding through Wednesday 04/09/2024 at 15:00. In addition, the amendment of the Invitation includes changes regarding the implementation process, the evaluation and approval of amendments, the required documentation for approval of applications for funding etc.

An event is set to be held on Wednesday, 3 July at the Athens Conservatoire, titled “NSRF 2014-2020: Major Development Impact for All”. The event will feature the presentation of the extent and impact of the NSRF, the projects and actions of which have made a decisive contribution to the overall development of Greece’s economy and society. The event will also be streamed online; link and details to follow. Opening remarks will be made by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Chatzidakis and the Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis. The Special Secretary for Management of ERDF & Cohesion Fund Programmes, Giorgos Zervos, will chair the discussion titled “Entrepreneurship: the driving force of the Greek economy”.

The fifth (5th) amendment to the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs” has been published; according to the amendment, interested parties may submit an administrative appeal (internal appeal under the meaning of article 25 of Law 2690/1999) exclusively through the iSAMIS within a deadline of ten (10) days from the day following notification of the final evaluation results as depicted in the Decision to Approve Evaluation Results.

The amendment also made changes to Section 10.4 of the Invitation, “APPEAL PROCESS”.

The new Action “Bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Greece and Germany” has been published. The Action aims to strengthen the extroversion and competitiveness of the research and innovation system through the development of co-operations between research organisations and enterprises of other countries. More specifically, the Action aims to promote and bolster the collaboration between research organisations and enterprises in Greece and Germany, which employ highly educated scientific personnel. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research is the competent authority for Germany.

The Invitation for Submission of Applications for Funding of research projects under the single Action for Research & Innovation “Research – Innovate” of the Competitiveness Programme (NSRF 2021-2027) was signed by the Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis, an announcement by the Ministry of National Economy and Finance stated.

The process of electronic submission of applications for funding under the Actions “Basic Digital Transformation for SMEs”, “Advanced Digital Transformation for SMEs”, and “Cutting-Edge Digital Transformation for SMEs” through the Integrated State Aid Management Information System has concluded. A total of 2,837 applications for funding of an overall budget of €250,542,980.80 and Public Expenditure of €120,245,843.16 were submitted.
