Announcement of the first Approvals of Funding for the ‘Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New SMEs’ Action of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme (NSRF 2021-2027)

The first (1st) Decision Approving Evaluation Results in the context of the ‘Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New SMEs’ Action has been published, which concerns applications submitted to the Transition Regions (Attica and South Aegean). According to the Decision, of the 1072 applications submitted to the Transition Regions, with a requested grant budget of €171,497,647.60 and a requested public expenditure of €86,901,426.12, four hundred ninety-seven (497) applications for funding have been approved, with a total funded budget of €82,545,123.72 and public expenditure in the amount of €41,851,263.97.

Furthermore, fifty-eight (58) applications for a total funded budget of €9,806,626.25, with a public expenditure of €5,015,292.90, are rejected due to the exhaustion of the Transition Regions’ budget, as are five hundred and seventeen (517) applications for a total funded budget of €79,145,897.63, with a public expenditure of €40,034,869.25, due to the required participation documentation being complete and/or formal requirements not being met, in accordance with the recommendations of the evaluation committees, as reflected in the relevant fields of iSAMIS, or because they were withdrawn prior to their evaluation or due to cumulation during the pre-accession screening stage.

Beneficiaries shall be notified electronically via the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS), at the email address they provided on their submission form.

Interested parties may, within a deadline of ten (10) days from the day following the notification of the results of the Decision Approving the Results, submit an administrative appeal (internal appeal under the meaning of Article 25 of Law 2690/1999) exclusively through iSAMIS.
