The official opening event for the European Research Centre “Centre of Excellence for Organic, Printed Electronics & Nanotechnologies” (COPE–Nano) was successfully held in Thessaloniki on Tuesday, 30 May 2023, at the Porto Palace Hotel.
This project will help establish a European Centre of Excellence for Nanotechnology in Thessaloniki, a particularly crucial subject area for modern production in strategic sectors of the economy.
Representatives from the academic community, regional and local authorities and the Greek government attended the event.
The Head of the Managing Authority for Operational Programme ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ (NSRF 2021-2027), Ms. Aggeliki Fetsi, made an intervention as a representative of the Special Secretary for the Management of ERDF & CF Programmes. With her statement, she praised the importance of the Centre of Excellence and stressed the role of the ‘Competitiveness 2021-2027’ Programme in supporting the research, innovation and development of new technologies in Greece.
