An online event, organised by the Professional Chamber of Athens, will be held on Thursday, 11 June 2026 at 6 p.m. to present the Action of the Competitiveness Programme ‘Start a Business’.
This Action aims to activate human capital by bolstering self-employment and developing new business initiatives that contribute to increased employment.
It primarily concerns young people with specialised training, with entrepreneurial skills and intention to participate in sustainable and modern sectors (e.g. ICT, Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics, Tourism etc.).
Special focus will be given to business activities which lead to the creation of new, sustainable jobs.
Opening remarks at the event will be made by the President of the Professional Chamber of Greece, Giannis Chatzitheodosiou, while remarks will also be made by the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis; the Action will be presented by Argyro Falanga, an executive at Unit A2 of the Managing Authority for the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme.
