The process of electronic submission of applications for funding under the Action ‘We produce in Greece’ through the Integrated State Aid Management Information System concluded on Thursday, 02/07/2026 at 15:00. A total of 876 applications for funding of an overall public expenditure of €123,458,077 were submitted.
The objective of the Action ‘We Produce in Greece’ is to strengthen Greece’s production base and international competitiveness in sectors with a high export orientation by supporting selected production sectors. This is a targeted intervention which seeks (a) to bolster the domestic production base in key sectors and (b) to support and expand the export orientation of Greek businesses. By increasing local production of products for which there is high international demand and improving export performance, the Action is expected to make a positive contribution to the Greek economy. At the same time, it seeks to strengthen domestic demand for Greek products by bolstering their competitiveness at the international level.
Specifically,
– 446 applications for funding, with a Public Expenditure of €64,478,597, were submitted in the Less Developed Region Category (Northern Aegean, Eastern Macedonia-Thrace, Central Macedonia, Epirus, Thessaly, Western Greece, Crete, Western Macedonia, Ionian Islands, Central Greece, Peloponnese).
– 430 applications for funding, with a Public Expenditure of €58,979,480, were submitted in the Transition Region Category (Attica, South Aegean).
The completion period for the funded investments may not exceed fifteen (15) months from the date of electronic notification of final approval of the application for funding (results of evaluation or results of examination of objection).
The Action is co-funded by the EU European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and with the participation of the Hellenic Republic. For reasons of greater complementarity, funding is provided using common support (Article 25 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060) for the financing of interventions that fall within the scope of ESF support.
