Conclusion of submission of applications for funding under the Actions “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New SMEs” and “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs”

 

The process of electronic submission of applications for funding under the Actions “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New SMEs” and “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs” through the Integrated State Aid Management Information System has concluded. A total of 9,823 applications for funding of an overall budget of €2,856,200,858.51 and Public Expenditure of €1,528,024,776.70 were submitted.

More specifically, 3,154 applications for funding of an overall budget of €555,137,981.32 with a Public Expenditure of €292,138,568.99 were submitted for the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New SMEs”.  This Action aims to bolster the investment plans of under-establishment or newly established SMEs and generate new jobs.

In addition, 6,669 applications for funding of an overall budget of €2,301,062,877.19 with a Public Expenditure of €1,235,886,207.71 were submitted for the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs”.  The action aims to aid the establishment of new micro-, small and medium tourism enterprises, which are projected to strengthen the capabilities of Greece’s tourism industry, provide reliable, high-quality services, and generate new jobs.

The Actions are co-funded by the European Union and by National resources within the framework of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme (NSRF 2021-2027).
