An event is set to be held on Wednesday, 3 July at the Athens Conservatoire, titled “NSRF 2014-2020: Major Development Impact for All”. The event will feature the presentation of the extent and impact of the NSRF, the projects and actions of which have made a decisive contribution to the overall development of Greece’s economy and society. The event will also be streamed online; link and details to follow. Opening remarks will be made by the Minister of National Economy and Finance, Kostis Chatzidakis and the Alternate Minister of National Economy and Finance, Nikos Papathanasis. The Special Secretary for Management of ERDF & Cohesion Fund Programmes, Giorgos Zervos, will chair the discussion titled “Entrepreneurship: the driving force of the Greek economy”.

The fifth (5th) amendment to the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs” has been published; according to the amendment, interested parties may submit an administrative appeal (internal appeal under the meaning of article 25 of Law 2690/1999) exclusively through the iSAMIS within a deadline of ten (10) days from the day following notification of the final evaluation results as depicted in the Decision to Approve Evaluation Results.

The initiative will support these enterprises to enable better access to equity funding and increase their competitiveness by making full use of their development potential.

The fourth (4th) amendment to the Invitation for the Action “Advanced Digital Transformation for SMEs” of the “Competitiveness 2021-2027” Programme has been announced; according to the amendment, the completion timeframe of the physical and financial scope is set at 21 months from the date of issue of the Decision Approving Evaluation Results. The amendment also made changes to section 9.4 of the Invitation, APPEAL PROCESS.

The fifth (5th) amendment to the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action “Cutting-Edge Digital Transformation for SMEs” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme NSRF 2021-2027 has been announced; according to the amendment, the completion timeframe of the physical and financial scope of the object is set at twenty-four (24) months from the date of issue of the Decision Approving Evaluation Results. The amendment also made changes to section 9.4 of the Invitation, APPEAL PROCESS.

A Manual has been uploaded to the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS) of the Ministry of Development and Investments, explaining all the required steps interested parties need to follow to submit an application for funding under the Action of Strategic Importance “RESEARCH – INNOVATE” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme.

The fourth (4th) amendment to the Invitation for the Action “Green Productive Investment for SMEs” of the Programme “Competitiveness 2021-2027” has been published; according to the amendment, the completion timeframe of the funded investments is set at thirty (30) months from the date of issue of the Decision Approving Evaluation Results. The amendment also made changes to Section 10.4 of the Invitation, “APPEAL PROCESS”.

The sixth (6th) amendment to the Invitation for the Action “Advanced Digital Transformation for SMEs” of the 'Competitiveness' Programme NSRF 2021-2027 has been announced; according to the amendment, the completion timeframe of the physical and financial scope of the object is set at fifteen (15) months from the date of issue of the Decision Approving Evaluation Results. The amendment also made changes to Section 9.4 of the Invitation, “APPEAL PROCESS”.

The new Action “Bilateral Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Greece and Germany” has been published. The Action aims to strengthen the extroversion and competitiveness of the research and innovation system through the development of co-operations between research organisations and enterprises of other countries. More specifically, the Action aims to promote and bolster the collaboration between research organisations and enterprises in Greece and Germany, which employ highly educated scientific personnel. The Federal Ministry of Education and Research is the competent authority for Germany.
