The first (1st) amendment to the Invitation for the Action “Strengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs” has been published; according to the amendment, the total amount of De Minimis aid received by a single enterprise in the past, including any funding from this Action, must not exceed €300,000 within any given three-year period. If the above threshold is exceeded with the granting of new de minimis aid, this aid may not be subject to the benefits of the regulation.
Furthermore, the amendment adds the following ACNs to Annex II ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES (ACN) of the Detailed Invitation:
- 41.20.20.01 “Configuration or erection of buildings or other structures as investment products as per article 33 par. 4 of the VAT Code for professional operation with VAT exemption for inflows”.
- 41.20.20.02 “Configuration or erection of buildings or other structures as investment products as per article 33 par. 4 of the VAT Code for professional operation without VAT exemption for inflows”.
- 55.20.11.03 “Furnished property rental services with customer care services”.
- 77.11.10.02 “Electric vehicle and driver-less passenger transportation services”.
The amendment also makes certain changes to the terms and conditions for participation in the Action, funding percentages, the evaluation process and criteria etc.
The Action concerns aid for tourism entrepreneurship through the formation or new micro and small and medium-sized enterprises of eligible tourism activity codes (ACNs); thereby promoting the formation of new enterprises which, in addition to contributing towards increasing the growth of the Greek tourism industry, will offer quality and reliable services and will contribute to the enhancement of the tourism product and the increase of employment.
