The 1st Amendment – Extension of the Invitation for submission of applications for funding under the Action of Strategic Significance “Research – Innovate” of the ‘Competitiveness’ Programme (NSRF 2021 – 2027) has been published; according to the amendment, applications for funding under all Interventions of the Action may be submitted to the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS) starting Thursday, 06/06/2024 at 12:00, with the following deadlines:
Tuesday, 30/07/2024 at 15:00 for Intervention I
Monday, 09/09/2024 at 15:00 for Intervention II
for Interventions III and IV, the Invitation will remain active until exhaustion of the available budget per Region Category and in any case through Wednesday, 27/11/2024 at 15:00
In addition, the amendment to the Invitation includes changes to the sections concerning submission and collection of funding applications, the appeals procedure, disbursement of the aid, obligations of the beneficiaries and implementation of the Acts etc.

The primary aim of the Action is the connection of research and innovation with entrepreneurship, to strengthen the competitiveness, productivity and extroversion of Greek enterprises in international markets and transition to innovative entrepreneurship, increasing domestic added value.
The budget for the Action amounts to €300,000,000
The Action is co-funded by the EU European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Beneficiaries of the Action:
- a) Enterprises and “Other entities treated as enterprises”; and
- b) Research organisations and “Other entities treated as research organisations”
The Action will be implemented by the Special Research and Innovation Action Management and Implementation Service (EYDE EK).
The funding application must be submitted online via the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS)
