The objective of the Fund is creating financing means to support and develop small and medium enterprises, small midcaps, midcaps and newly established enterprises, as well as facilitating their access to sources of funding.<\/p>\n<p>The initial budget of the Fund amounts to <strong>\u20ac500 million<\/strong>. Further leverage through the banking system is expected to generate a loan portfolio of <strong>\u20ac2.1 billion<\/strong>. It is noted that TEPIX III is a portfolio fund, initially operated with the participation of the Guarantee Fund (up to \u20ac300 million) and, subsequently, of the Co-Financing Fund (up to \u20ac200 million).\u00a0 TEPIX III will provide interest-subsidised loans for purposes of both working capital and investment plans.
