The Ministry of National Economy and Finance published the announcement for the Action \u201cStrengthening the Establishment and Operation of New Tourism SMEs<\/a>\u201d; the action concerns support for entrepreneurship in the tourism sector through the establishment of new micro-, small and medium enterprises with selected activity code numbers (ACN), encouraging entrepreneurship for enterprises that strengthen the capabilities of Greece\u2019 tourism industry and provide reliable, high-quality services that will contribute to the enrichment of Greece\u2019s tourism product and generate new jobs.<\/p>\n The budget for the Action amounts to \u20ac160,000,000<\/strong>\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n The Action is co-funded by the EU European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and with the participation of the Hellenic Republic.<\/p>\n \u00a0Each investment plan may receive<\/strong> from \u20ac80,000 <\/strong>up to \u20ac400,000<\/strong> in funding.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n The percentage of the funding<\/strong> is equal<\/u> for all applications for funding and amounts to 45%<\/strong> of the funded budget.<\/p>\n The subsidy rate may increase by:<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Beneficiaries of the Action: <\/strong><\/p>\n Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises that are in the process of being established or are newly-established will be or are active in the Tourism industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n Category A. In the process of being established.<\/strong> Enterprises that will be established after the issue date of the Action\u2019s call until the first disbursement of the subsidy and will be exclusively<\/strong> active in eligible ACNs throughout the implementation of the investment plan and until the investment is repaid, in accordance with ANNEX II ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES (ACN).<\/p>\n Category B.<\/strong> Newly Established.<\/strong> The term \u2018newly established\u2019 signifies enterprises that have not exceeded a 12-month period of continuous operation (the date of registration with the IAPR must be within the previous 12-month period from the date of announcement of the Action). It should be noted that they should be exclusively<\/strong> active in the eligible ACNs of the Action, which are included in Annex II ELIGIBLE ACTIVITIES (ACN), during the submission of the funding application, throughout the implementation of the investment plan and until the repayment of the investment.<\/p>\n It is clarified that<\/strong> the enterprises must have the investment ACN prior to the first disbursement.<\/p>\n It is noted that investment plans with the investment ACN \u201cAccommodations\u201d (ACN 55) of the tourism sector must fulfil the following conditions:<\/p>\n MAIN HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS<\/u><\/p>\n Hotels<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Tourist hotel accommodations within traditional settlements as per P.D. 33\/1979<\/p>\n Organised tourist camping sites<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n NON-MAIN HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS<\/u><\/p>\n Self-service accommodation \u2013 furnished tourist accommodations<\/strong><\/p>\n Please note:<\/u> The total self-service accommodations \u2013 furnished tourist accommodations must belong to the same Electronic Register of Tourism Enterprises Mark.<\/p>\n Furnished rooms – apartments for rent<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Online Submission Start Date: Monday, 18\/12\/2023 <\/strong>at 15:00 The funding application must be submitted online via the Integrated State Aid Management Information System (iSAMIS)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n Applications for funding submitted to the iSAMIS with unfilled mandatory fields will not be accepted.<\/p>\n The applications for funding will be evaluated through benchmarking.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Contact \u2013 Information<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Public Information Office<\/strong>:\u00a08 Dragatsaniou Street, Klafthmonos Square, Athens. <\/p>\n\n
