Information events for Action \u2018Research \u2013 Innovate 2021-2027\u2019 of the \u2018Competitiveness 2021-2027\u2019 Programme will be held in Heraklion on Thursday, 6 April 2023 and in Chania on Friday, 7 April 2023.<\/p>\n

The main goal of Action \u2018Research – Innovate\u2019, with a EUR 300,000,000 budget, is to link research and innovation with entrepreneurship and improve the competitiveness, productivity and extroversion of enterprises in foreign markets, with the purpose of achieving quality innovative entrepreneurship and boosting domestic added-value.<\/p>\n

The forthcoming Action and its characteristics will be presented during the events, and its role in entrepreneurship and innovation will be discussed.<\/p>\n

The events will be attended, among other guests, by Mr. Antonis Papaderakis, Deputy Regional Governor for Entrepreneurship, Trade, Innovation & Social Economy, Mr. Athanasios Kyriazis, Secretary General of Research and Innovation and Ms. Despina Kralli, Head of the Management and Implementation Authority for Research, Technological Development and Innovation Actions.<\/p>\n

At the April 7th event in Chania, interventions will be made Mr. Georgios Zervos, Special Secretary for the Management of Programmes of the European Regional Development Fund and the Cohesion Fund, on the topic: “Research & Innovation in NSRF programs” and by Ms. Angeliki Fetsi, Head of the Managing Authority for the Operational Programme ‘Competitiveness’, who will speak about the \u2018Competitiveness 2021 – 2027\u2019 Programme.<\/p>\n

The events are organised by the Innovation Business Observatory of the Region of Crete, the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Lasithi Chamber, the Rethymno Chamber and the Chania Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Research and Innovation and the Ministry of Development and Investments.<\/p>\n

The \u2018Research – Innovate 2021-2027\u2019 Action is co-funded by the EU\u2019s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and national funds in the context of NSRF 2021-2027.<\/p>\n
