The decision to include the operation “Entrepreneurship Fund III (TEPIX III) – Natural Disasters Recovery Microloans Fund” in the Competitiveness Programme has been published.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Microloans Fund<\/strong>\u00a0seeks to facilitate\u00a0access to capital of up to \u20ac25,000<\/strong>\u00a0for professionals and enterprises operating\u00a0in the Thessaly Region<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0impacted by natural disasters.<\/p>\n

The loans will provide financing to existing small and micro enterprises and entities over one year provided they have their registered offices or branch of their main or secondary activity in the Thessaly Region.<\/p>\n

The Fund will provide risk-sharing loans to cover either investment costs or special purpose working capital needs.<\/p>\n

The Fund will provide interest-free financing at a rate of 75%<\/strong>\u00a0while the remaining 25% is covered by financial institutions (FIs).<\/p>\n

No real collateral is obtained to grant the loan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Fund’s total budget is \u20ac10 million and it is expected to create a loan portfolio of \u20ac12 million that is expected to support at least 480 enterprises in the\u00a0Thessaly Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Action is co-financed by the\u00a0European Social Fund+<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0national resources<\/strong> as part of the\u00a02021-2027 Competitiveness<\/strong>\u00a0Programme,<\/strong> is being implemented by\u00a0Hellenic Development Bank<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0has the overriding objective of bolstering employability in the affected area.<\/em><\/p>\n
