The Fund is a specialised financing tool which seeks to\u00a0<strong>directly support small and micro enterprises in the Thessaly Region<\/strong>\u00a0which were affected by Storm Daniel. With a budget of\u00a0<strong>\u20ac12,000,000<\/strong>\u00a0the Action is financed by the Competitiveness Programme\u00a0<strong>with co-financing from the European Social Fund (ESF+)<\/strong> and offers exceptionally favourable financing terms to allow businesses to recover.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Microloans Fund offers\u00a0<strong>microloans<\/strong>\u00a0ranging from\u00a0<strong>\u20ac3,000 to \u20ac25,000<\/strong>\u00a0under exceptionally favourable terms:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Interest-free financing<\/strong>\u00a0for\u00a0<strong>75%<\/strong>\u00a0of the loan<\/li>\n<li>Repayment period from 1 to 8 years<\/li>\n<li>Grace period of up to 6 months<\/li>\n<li>No real collateral<\/li>\n<li>Additional grant of \u20ac900 per Tax ID No. for mentoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A major advantage of the Action is the fact that\u00a0<strong>financing is provided<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>whether or not there is material damage or whether a request for assistance was submitted.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Enterprises can use the loan to primarily cover\u00a0<strong>working capital<\/strong>\u00a0but also partially cover\u00a0<strong>investment costs <\/strong>provided that component does not exceed 40% of the loan.
